What Are the 10 Most Famous Celebrity Perfumes?

One reviewer described her reaction to actress Hilary Duff’s With Love as “pleasantly surprised. This is SO not like other celeb fragrances. It smells sophisticated — like an actual perfume should, not like a tween spray.”

Launched in 2006, With Love was created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Stephen Nilsen. Top notes are spices and mangosteen; middle notes are cocobolo and mangosteen blossom; base notes are amber and musk.

Another reviewer said “I was not expecting to love this when someone recommended it to me as an autumn perfume, especially reading that it had spices and cocobolo in it. Boy was I wrong. This reminds me of being in a Middle Eastern style food market or bazaar, the mango keeps it slightly fruity so it’s not overpoweringly woody, and the spices make it nice and warm at the same time. Dries down to a lovely soft woody smell that is still incredibly feminine and soft. Truly wonderful, especially for a cheap and cheerful bargain buy!”

And yes, this is a bargain basement, buy, Hilary Duff’s With Love can regularly be found in outlets such as Home Bargains.

According to Frederick E. Purches, the founder of Parlux Fragrances, when perfume designers first met with Rihanna, they commented on her “unique scent”. Rihanna disclosed to the designers that she had created it by mixing and layering five different scents. The perfume designers then analyzed the five fragrances and incorporated them into the final formula for her first fragrance, Reb’l Fleur.

Rihanna launched Nude, the third fragrance to bear her name in 2012 (Rebelle was the second). Nude by Rihanna is a sweet floral, a fruity fragrance with a vanilla background. With its woody and skin musky notes, the fragrance transmits intimacy and a feeling of bare skin and nakedness.

Fruity aromas of guava, mandarin and pear are located at the opening of the composition. The heart is blended out of white flowers: gardenia petals, velvety Sambac jasmine and creamy orange blossom. The base consists of sandalwood, vanilla orchid and “second skin” musk.
