The Organic Milk Suppliers Cooperative (OMSCo) was formed 20 years ago by 5 like-minded dairy farmers who felt that there just had to be a better way to farm. Today OMSCo represents over 200 organic farmers in the UK from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
They are all annually audited by the Soil Association to ensure they are adhering to a clear set of standards; this gives you a quality guarantee. No system of farming has higher animal welfare standards than farms working to these standards and the cows are reared without the routine use of drugs or antibiotics. In addition, no system of farming has lower pesticide use.
