One of the UK’s fiercest new female groups, Sweet Love, and chart-topping UK rapper Stormzy were among many famous faces who made an appearance as thousands of people attended the unveiling of London’s most famous toy shop festive window reveal at Regent Street.
Performing to thousands outside the world’s most famous toy store and inside to a VIP crowd to mark the official start of the holiday season, Sweet Love electrified the audience with fierce harmonies, Y2K-inspired choreography and the raw, honest pop sound that has already earned them more than 1.3 million social followers and shout-outs from members of the Spice Girls and Princess Andre.
After their high-energy set, Stormzy hugged and congratulated all four members and told them their performance was “absolutely wicked,” leaving the girls and team buzzing. Insiders say he was genuinely blown away by their vocals, choreography and stage presence, calling them “ones to watch.”
A spokesperson for Sweet Love said: “The girls were overwhelmed. Performing at Hamleys is huge, but having Stormzy not only in the audience, but praising their performance, made the night unforgettable. The energy around Sweet Love is building fast and last night felt like a defining moment.”
