You are the face of imPRESS nails. Tell us more about this new product?
I just love these nails. I’m always on the go, and despite the many perks of the job, an hour in the nail salon is not one of them! imPRESS nails give a really convincing gel look manicure without the fuss of glue or drying time. My schedule is so hectic and it’s nice that I can take them with me on the road and have a beautiful salon perfect manicure in minute! They can last up to one week, and you don’t have to worry about them chipping.
How easy are imPRESS nails to use?
Super easy! You simple remove the adhesive tape from the back of the nail, size them up and stick them on. Also when you fancy a change, they are easy to remove, so you can switch up to a new style to match your outfit at any time.
The imPRESS nail range comes is a variety of patterns and shades, which is your favourite design?
I love the imPRESS jet black gel looks in Text Appeal, the deep red Rated R, and I also love the black and jet silver crackle effect of Working Girl. imPRESS have such a wide selection it’s so hard to decide on a favourite, I love them all.
How important is it to you to have nice nails?
Nails are the ultimate accessory and my hands are always in views so I make sure my nails are always flawless. A woman’s nails are a great way to express her individuality and unique style.
What advice would you give to someone who has never really bothered about taking care of their nails?
The only advice I would need to give them is to buy themselves a set of imPRESS nails.
What is your nail care routine?
Simple! Polish and buff my nails, choose my imPRESS nail colour, size them to my nails and stick them on. I rarely have time to pamper myself so it’s great that imPRESS nails provide a salon finish effortlessly.
In terms of colours and patterns, what shades are hot right now?
I think deep colours are a must-have especially fall is approaching deep rich colour’s just match the season perfectly. I love Text Appeal, Rated R, Space Cadet and Payback and Working Girl for this season.
You always look so glamorous, do you follow a particular beauty regime?
I think the key is really basic- sleep and drink lots of water. You need to keep your skin hydrated and it’s really important to take your make up off at night and use a good moisturiser. I cleanse and moisturise in the morning, and at night I use a foaming cleanser to remove all traces of make up before applying a night cream to repair the wear and tear of my schedule.
Do you have an instant feel-good beauty trick? If so, what is it?
I love a good glossy pout so when I’m not feeling like wearing much make up, I slick on one of my MAC lip-glosses and I’m good to go! They are long lasting so you don’t have to keep reapplying and they don’t have that ‘gloppy’ feel to them that you sometimes get with other lip products.
Who or what inspires your look?
It’s a real mixture, anyone from Kate Moss to J.Lo- I look to stylish woman who just have a strong sense of what works for them. Looks from the 70s also inspire me. Singers like Chaka Khan and Diana Ross really inspire me. What I love about female 70s icons is that they’re feminine yet strong at the same time and command a real presence.
