Why was CAYO founded?
We’re an independent UK brand creating products for babies and children with a passion for both style and responsibility. We had a strong belief that beautiful design can be achieved in the soothing category whilst not compromising on ethics and sustainability.
Where does the name CAYO come from?
Our dummies are there to support you night-to-day, dusk-to-dawn and so our name and logo reflects this. The ‘C’ represents the moon of the night and the ‘O’ reflects the sun of the new day.
Where are CAYO dummies manufactured and what materials are used?
CAYO dummies are manufactured in the UK. We are passionate about reducing our shipping miles and carbon footprint.
The shields are made from fully recyclable food-grade plastic, 100% free from BPA, PVC and phthalates. They are specifically created for the comfort of your baby. They are specially designed to curve away from your little one’s face, allowing you baby’s skin to breathe and consequently reducing moisture rashes and sore spots.
The latex teats are produced from natural rubber latex. CAYO only use the highest quality natural rubber.
What sizes are available?
All the shields are uniform size, but the teats differ depending on the age of your baby.
Size1: 0-6 months
Size 2: 6 months and up
What designs and colours are available?
CAYO are launching with 2 shapes and 4 colours. Aster is shaped like a flower, symbolising love and faith, and Shine is round and incorporates a pattern symbolising the sun’s rays. Both shapes come in 4 colours: Sky, Blush, Beach and Sage. The cute neutral pastel colours ensure style with every outfit.
How safe are CAYO dummies?
CAYO are uncompromising when it comes to safety and quality of our products. Our dummies comply with EN1400 safety standards.
How do I keep a dummy clean and how long should it last?
Although the dummies are made in a clean environment it is important that they are sterilised beforehand. Simply place them in boiling water for 5 minutes and then air-dry on a clean towel. (Do not put your dummies in the microwave, dishwasher or use any other sterilising solutions).
Repeat this regularly to keep your dummy free from any bacteria that could build up during use.
For both hygiene and safety reasons, CAYO recommend replacing your baby’s dummy every 5- 6 weeks.

How long does delivery take? Can I return a product if I am not happy with it?
There are 2 types of delivery:
Standard delivery: between 2-4 business days (currently free!)
Express delivery: between 1-2 business days (£4.95)
