Christmas travel survival guide

This time of year can be stressful when you’re busy planning what presents to buy, deciding what to wear to your Christmas party, and making sure you remember to pack everything when visiting your friends and family.

Here’s some top travel tips and ‘must haves’ to help relieve the pressure during the festive season:

1. “Don’t risk your favourite pair of heels snagging your Christmas party dress – make sure they’re neatly packed away in a shoe travel bag.” Lady P (Handmade shoe and underwear travel bags are available at  for £12).

2. “A good all round holiday hair tip is to take an intensive hair mask with you for at least a weekly treat. Be it in snow or sun hair needs moisture. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Mask is perfect!” Ben Cooke, celebrity hairdresser.

3. “To save space and weight I always pack multi-tasking products when travelling. Liz Earle cream blushers look gorgeous on cheeks, lips and eyes.” Jane Bradley, celebrity make-up artist and Liz Earle ambassador.

4. “Don’t take your travel iron away with you – save the space for an extra pair of shoes! Just hang your creased dress up when you go in the shower and let the steam do the job for you.” Lady P.

5. “If space is limited, take Liz Earle Perfect Fix Concealer instead of a heavy, bulky bottle of base. It’s creamy texture means it can be blended out over the skin and used like a mini-foundation stick.” Jane Bradley, celebrity make-up artist and Liz Earle ambassador.
