Visitors to St Peter's Square told to cover up.

Vatican City are telling people to cover up otherwise they may be turned away
The historic city is enforcing both visitors and locals to wear appropriate clothing otherwise they may be refused entry to both the city and the popular St Peter’s Square within.
The new rules, that commence this summer, require men to wear t-shirts with sleeves and long trousers while women have to cover their shoulders and wear skirts that are at least knee length.
With temperatures known to hit around 30 degrees it may be tempting to wear less clothing but everyone has now been warned.
‘The new rules are catching a lot of holidaymakers out as there are stories of visitors being forced to buy overpriced clothing to cover up,’ said Sarah Findlay, Online Marketing manager for insurewithease.com.
Findlay added that part of going on holiday includes embracing the customs and traditions of the country you are visiting. It is therefore important for travellers to find out as much as they can about their holiday destination so that they are able to pack appropriately.
