Nineteen percent of Brits never do any cleaning at all according to research by leading cleaning company, Vileda. And over a third admit to spending less than two hours cleaning their home.
The research also revealed an amazing 36% don’t know how to clean properly, and can’t distinguish the difference between a sponge and a scourer. Stressful lifestyles are to blame; Lindsey Taylor, product manager for Vileda says, “Our research shows that spring cleaning has become lower on Britain’s priority list than ever before. Time pressures are bigger than ever, so all our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they offer the best possible performance.”
Despite this widespread laziness a staggering 98% admit to feeling much happier when they have a clutter-free home, so maybe it’s time for you to get down and dirty in the mounting dust!
