Mind-reading airport security could be introduced
Barack Obama has called for tighter security after the detroit bombing attempt

As airline terrorist attempts continue, airport security becomes top priority with new mind reading technology developed

Security has always been top priority for airports, and in the wake of the Christmas Day bombing attempt over Detroit, security experts have been floating several new ideas to combat terrorism attempts.

One of the more radical solutions that has been considered is WeCu Technology – an Israeli devised project that blends high technology and behavioral psychology, which would effectively read the mind of a would-be terrorist.

The WeCu system works by projecting images onto airport screen, such as symbols associated with a certain terrorist group or some other image only a possible terrorist would recognize, and working on the logic that people cannot help to react, even if only subtly. This could be a darting of the eyes, increased heartbeat or faster breathing, company CEO Ehud Givon said. Hidden cameras or sensors would be used to detect any suspicious reactions.
The process has divided opinion, with some critics calling WeCu Orwellian and akin to ‘brain fingerprinting’.
