Guest editor for Celebrity Angels: Home magazine, Phil Spencer says, ‘I expect things will be quiet until the end of the year. It’s going to be a strange period because the property market is very polarised with different areas behaving in different ways. If an area has high unemployment there’s going to be forced selling, repossessions and prices are going to fall. In a lot of areas, people will be feeling confident and healthy and in a completely different market. It’s confusing for people as the statistics they’re going to read on the front page of the paper, won’t necessarily correlate with what’s happening in their local area.’
