Switch to green and cut your costs

A recent survey by greenhelpline.com found almost 90% of those questioned either didn’t know about eco-friendly tariffs or believe it’s more expensive to switch to one. But on average homes can save up to £292 a year. In terms of business savings director of greenhelpline.com Alex Lambie says, ‘Businesses can save money by switching to green. All small business that aren’t running on a business meter can use domestic tariffs, and benefit from domestic energy savings’.

Thousands of small businesses and home businesses could cut their overheads and switch to green now. Barbara Cassani advises, ‘The environment is a moral issue for business, it’s a morally good thing not to waste. We now know that the planet can’t take the way we’re treating it, so once you have that knowledge, it’s incumbent upon you to try to do something’.
