A survey by comparison site gocompare.com has revealed that 74% of Brits will be undertaking some kind of garden project this year, spending £6.8 billion on garden products
More than 12 per cent of respondents plan to completely renovate their garden while 5 per cent said that they were investing in their homes and gardens rather than moving or going abroad this year. One in eight Brits are hoping that the money spent on their garden will add value to their homes.
According to a report by the Future Foundation 36 per cent of us said that we plan to grow our own fruit and vegetables this year, up 25 per cent from last year.
