Debenham's have created a new window display campaign

Debenhams has become the first British retailer to launch a national window campaign that features a disabled model
After a successful trial run earlier this year, the campaign has now been extended to 160 of their stores throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The store decided to do this after they were approached by Nikki Fox and Natasha Wood, who are presenters of television programme, How to Look Good Naked and also work as disability campaigners.
The window display, featuring disabled model Shannon Murray along with additional photography and mannequins, will help to promote Debenham’s autumn winter women’s wear collection.
Gok Wan, Celebrity stylist and presenter of How to Look Good Naked, commented, ‘This, for me, is bigger than anything else I have ever personally worked on, and I have never been so proud in my entire life.’
The retailer hopes, that by making the first move with such a high profile campaign, other high street stores will follow suit.
Debenhams have also been part of other inclusive window display campaigns throughout the year that include using un-airbrushed swim models and plus and petite sized models.
