Laura Ashley’s Autumn Winter collection offers a glowing palette of cranberry, copper and linen to infuse your home with some extra warmth this season.
As the nights draw in, the desire to curl up by a crackling fire and enjoy the comforts of home grows stronger. This glorious autumnal season is the ideal time to introduce a brand new décor theme to your home. This year, the cosy appeal of Laura Ashley’s latest AW14 collection is more inviting than ever.
‘Our unique designs are hugely popular, and in particular, our beautiful printed florals,’ says Josephine Bennett, Head of Design for Laura Ashley Home.
For autumn, Laura Ashley has re-coloured one of its best-selling archival designs, Summer Palace, into warm cranberry and linen—this has inspired the new home collection, Country Elegance. Peppered with checks and exquisite animal illustrations, Country Elegance offers an eclectic mix for the home.
‘For this classic decorating story, as well as co-ordinating our fabric designs with cosy checks and stripes, which continue to be an important trend for the season, we have added the unexpected in our products like our Hunterhill (dog breeds) wallpaper,’ says Josephine.
Seeking out different sources of inspiration is an important part of the design team’s work at Laura Ashley, no matter what season it is.
‘We draw inspiration from everywhere, visiting trade shows, following global design trends, our own rich heritage and archive, but what is important, is understanding and listening to what our customers tell us. We are very excited about our new AW14 collections and hope our customers love them as much as we do,’ concludes Josephine.
